DISASTER RELIEF

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Maury County community, especially those directly impacted by the May 8th tornado. We are continuing to collect totes, tarps and restaurant gift cards. If you are in need of assistance, please contact us.

We are located at 921 S Beckett Street in beautiful Downtown Columbia.  We serve all of Maury County.

Partners

Our funding comes from many different sources such as churches, individuals, Maury County Government, City of Columbia, Salvation Army, and United Way.  Plus, numerous fundraisers!

The Family Center is a non-profit organization in Maury County that provides the community with temporary economic assistance and opportunities that foster healthy lives and home environments.

Families used the Food Pantry

in 2023, we received $727,772.05 worth of groceries to give to our families who requested assistance through our pantry.  Maury County residents can come once a month for assistance.

Families received Financial Assistance

in 2023, we served a record number of families with rent, utilities, eyeglasses and medication.

Turkey Boxes

In 2023, We distributed 807 Frozen turkeys and sides during Operation Gobble Gobble which is our second largest giveaway.

Santa's Workshop

in 2023, we provided an average of 3 presents, a stocking stuffer, a book, an article of clothing, and some school supplies to 1,236 children.

Christmas Hams

In 2023, every family that received toys for Christmas also received a ham for dinner and a roll of wrapping paper.

Homeless

in 2022, we saw our homeless population grow.  We served them with housing, food, showers, and supplies.

Common Threads Vouchers

In 2022, we provided a record number of vouchers for free items at Common Threads.  These were for various events and services.
